Kotabaru, (AntaranewsKalsel) - Kotabaru's Assembly has pledged to defend the residents of Langadai, Kelumpang Hilir, Kotabaru, related their claims for compensation on land controlled by PT Indocement Tunggal Perkasa Tbk.

Chairman of Commission I DPRD Kotabaru Edriansyah said on Monday after receiving a report of citizens the commission directly form a team and go into the field to gather information and statements including reviewing the location.

"It is known from the 132 residents who own land has completed compensation by PT ITP since the year 1994 to 2013, except for nine people whose an area of about 18 hectares. The position of the land is exactly the location of the company guest house," said Edriansyah.

This problem has been addressed by the Regional Land Problem Resolution Team (P3D) of Kotabaru local government since 1994 and continued in 1996 and the last in 2013.
