Balangan Family Welfare Movement Driving Team (TP PKK) in collaboration with the Health Agency held free rapid tests for residents.
Chair of the Awayan Sub-district TP PKK Gusti Sri Rahayu in Paringin on Thursday (Dec 17, 2020) said that the free rapid test is expected to be able to control the spread of COVID-19, which has many cases now.
The rapid test activity which was attended by 34 residents held in the hall of the Health Office.
"Hopefully all of them are nonreactive, but this rapid test is also to break the chain of spreading COVID-19," said Gusti.
Gusti also appealed to the public to always apply 3M, namely keeping a distance, wearing masks, and washing hands after doing activities.
Secretary of the Balangan TP PKK Hasmiati said the free rapid test was one of series of events held by the TP PKK, after previously holding Mother's Day commemoration.
