Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - National Entrepreneurs Association of Oil and Gas (Hiswana Migas) in South Kalimantan imposes restrictions on the purchase of subsidized fuel (BBM) at filling stations (SPBU) throughout the province since August 4, 2014.


Chairman of Hiswana Migas South Kalimantan Addi Chairuddin here on Wednesday said fuel restriction to anticipate a reduction in fuel quota to all public refueling stations which took effect August 11, 2014 for premium and August 28, 2014 for diesel.

"This purchase restriction based on the Decree of the Governor of South Kalimantan H Rudy Ariffin set since some time ago," he said.

Restrictions apply to the purchase of fuel for all types of vehicles, both two-wheel, four wheel and six wheel or truck.

For four wheels, he said, may buy gasoline at the pump no more than Rp100 thousand and six wheels must not be more than Rp200 thousand.

In addition to purchasing restrictions, restrictions will also be applied at the gas station operasioanal time from 08:00 am until 18:00 pm for a SPBU that is open from the morning, and SPBU that became the center of congestion, will open in evening.

"In Banjarmamsin, of which there are 12 gas stations, only three will be open at night," he said.

While the total reduction, he said, for the premium will gradually be reduced to five percent and diesel by about 20 percent.

A reduction in the SPBU to happen, he added, based on the policy of the central government to reduce the quota of subsidized fuel in 2014 nationally from the previous 48 million to 46 million kl kl.

Securing execution of the decree, Hiswana Migas has been coordinating with South Kalimantan Police, military and security forces linked so that undesirable things do not happen.
