Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Banjarmasin Bina Marga Agency plans to add lighting in the area of Kamboja Green Open Space (RTH) to provide beauty and comfort in this location.
"At least 100 lights will be installed in the green space which is located in the middle of the city of Banjarmasin," Head of Banjarmasin Bina Marga Gusti Ridwan Sofyani told reporters in Banjarmasin city hall, Thursday.
Ridwan rate, existing lighting in green space is not adequate, because it still looks dim when evening. Thus, could potentially be used to do evil or immoral.
"Many complain of RTH as utilized by bad deeds, namely sexual activity, especially at night. Moreover, once there were intercepted as Satpol PP (municipal police) operation," he said.
With really bright light it is expected to reduce or even eliminate the unethical actions in the green space.
Ridwan said that 100 pieces of lighting project will cost about Rp1,5 billion. Detail Engineering Design (DED)-type solar cell light was already completed, and the project has entered the stage of auction, hopefully in May 2014 can be done, he said.
