Kotabaru , South Kalimantan ( Antaranews ) - Former employees of a coal mining contractor PT Thiess Senakin site go to the Kotabaru Labor, Transmigration and Social Agency (Disnakertrans). They demanded severance cut unilaterally by the  company under the pretext of medical expenses.

One of them , Bambang Irawan , on Monday , said the company has been unarbitrarily cut employment (FLE), also has cut employee severance unilaterally without notice . The reason for the cost of inpatient treatment himself injured at work.

"Though the company memorandum issued directly by the President Director, Roy Oslen, clearly state the point 1 , the company will bear the cost of treatment for employees up to a maximum of 100 percent of Rp40 million for employee hospitalization costs and other related expenses," he told.

The second point , if it turns out to cost more than Rp40 million , the excess over the company will pay 80 percent, 
while 20 percent is borne by the employee.

In practice , the cost of his treatment of Rp110 million, the company actually cut Rp55 million from Rp60 million of 
his severance earned with service life of about 11 years. Bambang work at the administration.

The condition was also experienced by other seven, who were demanding justice and asked Kotabaru's Disnakertrans mediate with companies seeking the best solution for all parties.

Trade Union (SP) of PT Thiess, Sunarko, which also assist the employees to justify the unilateral stance of the company.

While Simon, company representatives who also attended the meeting, declined to comment .
