Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - The city government (Pemko) of Banjarmasin held the first Banjarmasin Fair presents a variety of culinary, local products to various people entertainment for over three days.
"Banjarmasin Fair is a space for small and medium businesses to promote their products in the 100 free stands provided by Pemko," said Drs H Hamli Kursani, Head of Cooperatives and SMEs Agency.
From 24 to 26 September 2013, the public can enjoy the low price of groceries provided by some supporting events like South Kalimantan Disperindag, Lotte Mart and Mart Plus, culinary Banjar, diverse entertainment offerings like panjat pinang ((climbing the slippery pole), art from school children to carnival showing 23 region typical clothing.
"Projects with a limited budget will give the best to the people of Banjarmasin," said Wawan, event organiser.
"We hope this festival successfully give a positive impact on small businesses and the community, so it can be held again next year," hope Hamli Kursani.
