Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian airline Batik Air has officially opened its direct flight from Jakarta to Nanning in China, that marks the carrier's third destination city in China after Guilin and Kunming.
"The opening of the flight route will also place Batik Air as the only airline with twice-a-week flight in its early stage service," Corporate Communications Strategic of Lion Air Group, Danang Mandala Prihantoro said in a statement on Sunday.

Batik Air's flight ID-7623 is scheduled to take off from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on Tuesday and Saturday at 5:55 p.m. (local time, GMT+7), and landed in Nanning Wuxu International Airport at 11:30 p.m. (local time, GMT+8).
While the return flight of ID-7622 is scheduled to run its service every Wednesday and Sunday, take off from Nanning at 12:30 a.m. and arrive in Jakarta at 04:20 a.m.

The latest Airbus 320-200CEO plane comprise of 12 business class seats and 144 economy class seats with in-flight entertainment--audio video on demand, is operated to this new route service.
With the new flight route, Prihantoro added, Batik Air is optimistic on supporting government plan to increase the number of foreign tourist to 20 millions people, especially to 10 New Bali and 5 Super Priorities.
