Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - The cement company PT Indocement (ITP), Tarjun, Kotabaru District, held an iftar (breaking of the fast) along with 250 orphans.
PT ITP Tarjun Kotabaru Manager H Achmadi said here on Saturday, iftar with orphans is one of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which is conducted every year.
"Thank God this year, we can share among each other, with residents from 10 ITP's Desa Binaan (one of the company’s efforts to build a self-supporting village)," he said.
In addition to iftar, Indocement also provide kits prayers and welfare money for the 250 orphans from villages of Kelumpang Hilir, South and Upper Kelumpang subdistricts.
Compared with Ramadhan 1433 Hijri, the number of orphan involved in Ramadan 1434 Hijri is bigger, from 230 to 250 orphans.
Akhmadi told, in the future CSR programs, such as activities of social, religious, educational and other flagship programs will continue to be encouraged.
He added that some time ago ITP also provided assistance Rp20 million to supply equipment for the marine fishing capture groups Tarjun.
