Banjarmasin, 22/3 (Antaranews, South Kalimantan) - Kalimantan Governor Rudy Ariffin finally act on issue of displacement of water pipe PDAM Bandarmasih affected by the project of flyover construction at Jalan A Yani Banjarmasin.
"I have met the governor of South Kalimantan about this, and he declared that South Kalimantan Government will fund the removal of the affected pipe overpass project as equity," said Director of Regional Water Company (PDAM) Bandarmasih, Muslih, Thursday (21/3).
Primary pipe taps overpass project affected threatened leaking, if not moved. When that happens, the 40 thousand subscribers taps will not get clean water.
At first, PDAM Bandarmasih confused by the lack of clarity and assurance of "flyover" implementers. Though such large pipes channel water to the region of South and East Banjarmasin, including General Hospital Ulin, Duta Mall, Mulya Sari Hospital, as well as a number of hotels.
It needs 15 billion rupiah to remove the pipes, but there is no agreement between the project manager "flyover" with PDAM. "We've tried to contact the project manager, but there is no bright spot about removal assistance of PDAM pipes with a distance of 17 cm from the pole of 'flyover'," said Muslih.
Then the problem even then submitted to the Governor of South Kalimantan for help and thank God the governor gave a positive response to using the funds as a budget amendment 2013, told Muslih.
