City Government of Banjarmasin determined to promote a culinary tour at the object of tourism.
 

Two location has been choosen, they are Siring tourist area on Jalan Sudirman and Siring on Jalan Piere Tendean. These are the area where an artificial floating market is held every Sunday.

“I hope various of specialties of South Kalimantan will be displayed and traded there,” Mayor H Muhidin said here on Tuesday.

He adds, this is to add to the splendor of the culinary world tour and some cuisine is mentioned to be promoted like ketupat kandangan,  nasi  kuning, laksa, serabi, and many traditional cake those are popular as 41 kinds of cake.

Meanwhile, Head of Agency  of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Businesses Hamli Kursani , as the extention of Banjarmasin Regency Adminitration  in fostering business community, hold socialization to population that inhabit the tourist area along the riverside of Martapura.
