General Manager of Banjarmasin Trisakti Port Jasri, Tuesday, said the government through state-owned enterprise (BUMN) provided free mudik facilities of 2000 tickets for ships from South Kalimantan's Batulicin Port and Central Kalimantan's Sampit and Kumai Seaports.

"The government also prepares 15,500 free bus tickets to take travelers to various destinations from Tanjung Perak (Surabaya) and Tanjung Emas (Semarang)," he said.

Travelers who want to get a free ticket should register online at http://mudik.pelindo.co.id. It opens since April 15, 2019

Jasri said the meeting with all relevant parties will be held soon to anticipate a surge in passengers in Trisakti. "Will there be any additional vessels or not the decision after the meeting on May 16, 2019," he said.

Since the beginning of May 2019, the surge in ship passengers has begun to occur. On a normal day, only about 50 passengers per day, but has now reached 250 people. The number is predicted to continue to soar, close to the time of homecoming travel (mudik) starting on D-15 of Idul Fitri 1440 hijriah.
