Kotabaru Government prepared 183 booths at the 2019 Saijaan Expo development exhibition which will be held during May 20-29 for the 69th anniversary of the district.

Head of Kotabaru Cooperative, SME and Industry Office Zainal Arifin said on Friday this number was more than the previous year.

"Overall 183 booths. This number is more than last year's which was only 102 booths, the rest were stalls without tents," said Zainal as Chairman of the Saijaan Expo Exhibition Section.

The concept of this year's exhibition is somewhat different, adjusting the direction of the regent. One of them is not to be dirty, all booths use tents provided by the event organizer.

There are two roder tents with a capacity of 58 booths measuring 3x3 meters which will be filled with SKPD, BUMN, BUMD, vertical agencies, and community organizations. As for SMEs, a 5x5 meter cone tent was prepared as many as 40 tents and 3x3 meters in size as many as 85 tents.

"All booths are on the top floor of Siring Laut, no one below," he added.

Exhibitors are charged a participation fee for booths in a roder tent is Rp 16 million, a 5 x 5 meter cone tent of Rp6.5 million, and a 3 x 3 meter cone tent of Rp2.5 million.

Except for local SMEs assisted by the Office of Cooperatives, SMEs, and Industry, 50 stands as free booth are provided.

Already several days busy preparing the exhibition area seen in the Siring Laut area. A stage and two roder tents have been established, while the booth for UKM in the form of a cone tent is still under construction.

"We hope with more mature planning, the implementation of this year's exhibition will be better, including in terms of security, order and cleanliness," said Zainal.
