The North Hulu Sungai (HSU) Population and Civil Registration Agency (Disdukcatpil) in collaboration with the Communication and Informatics Office (Kominfo) launched the HSU portal application and Population Management Information System (SIMpun) to improve population document services.


The cooperation includes the utilization of population data, NIK, and e-KTP for the development of SPBE applications that implement a single sign on between Disdukcatpil and the Kominfo.

The signing of the contract was carried out by the Head of Kominfo Adi Lesmana and the Head of Dukcatpil Office Ahmad Roosifansyah. Collaboration was also carried out with PT Pos Indonesia branch Amuntai for transportation services for population documents.

HSU Regent Abdul Wahid here said on Monday that civil registration services, such as birth certificates, ID cards, child identity cards (KIA), and family cards, are basic rights of citizens that must be fulfilled by the government as well as state recognition of its citizens.

"I really appreciate the collaboration between the Communication and Informatics Agency and the Dukcatpil and PT Pos branch Amuntai in improving the service of prime, fast, and free population documents," Wahid said.

Wahid explained, the SIMpun application is an attempt by HSU government to support national programs in the field of population and electronic-based government systems. Through this application the community is served online for the population documents service.

HSU Chief of Kominfo Adi Lesmana explained the website-based HSU portal serves to provide public and non-public information services to the public.

"People can access this HSU portal to find information about local government services," Adi said.
