Banjarmasin residents complain about the scarcity of subsidized liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) that has often occurred in recent years.

They complained when members of the Banjarmasin City DPRD took to the field on Thursday to absorb community aspirations and ensure that all programs budgeted by the government were carried out properly.

The city DPRD member M Faisal Heriyadi said, most of the complaints submitted by the community were the issue of LPG distribution which was often late.

Moreover, the scarcity and soaring prices of LPG is a problem that cannot be resolved to date.

"LPG scarcity is very troubling for the citizens of Central Banjarmasin. Residents hope the government will immediately carry out market operations," he said.

In addition to rare gas, said Faisal, residents also proposed revitalizing temporary waste disposal sites (TPS) at Rambai Market.

Residents requested that the disposal site to be repaired immediately, until the pile of rubbish do not spill onto the road and make an unpleasant sight.

"This is what we will inventory and immediately be submitted to the leadership to be followed up," he said.
