South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor supported the Mayor Nadjmi Adhani and Deputy Mayor Darmawan Jaya Setiawan determination to make Banjarbaru a winner, but he suggested that the city must have a selling value.

"We support the determination and enthusiasm of the mayor and vice mayor to make Banjarbaru a winner, but remember don't dream of becoming a winner if you don't have a selling value," he said in Banjarbaru City on Friday.

The governor made his remark at the peak of the 20th anniversary of Banjarbaru City which was centered on the courtyard of the City Hall. It was enlivened by various activities and development exhibitions.

According to the governor, the enthusiasm and determination that the mayor and his deputy exerted must be supported by the entire community thus anything to achieve can be realized as expected.

He insisted the Banjarbaru City Government must empower the community in every development program to move together and develop the city towards the expected results.

"Let's continue to move together to build the region with full sincerity and mutual support, so that we can realize Banjarbaru the winner tagline throughout 2019," he said.

Mayor Nadjmi Adhani said, determination and enthusiasm to be a winner was prepared through the target of achieving a national level award in addition to prioritizing public services in the region.

"The winner's tagline as a determination and encouragement at the same time, so that the apparatus and society can support each other to achieve national level achievements. However, public services remain the main," he said firmly.

The anniversary was also attended by South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Yazid Fanani, South Kalimantan regional heads, Forkopimda (the city leaders communication forums) of Banjarbaru, BUMN and private companies executives.
