Nam Air closes flights from Bersujud Airport in Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan, to Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin and Juanda Airport Surabaya.
"Nam Air's management closed the route since March 29, 2019," said the Head of the Head of Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of Bersujud Airport Surya Efendi in Batulicin.
He said, the reason Nam Air stopped serving Banjarmasin-Batulicin, Batulicin-Surabaya, Surabaya-Batulicin, and Batulicin-Banjarmasin flights was due to the new policy adopted by the Sriwijaya Group airline.
The Nam Air flight service has so far been very helpful to many people. Those who want to go to Surabaya no longer need to go to Banjarmasin, thus time and money was more efficient.
Until now the UPTD of Bersujud Airport has not received a definite explanation from Nam Air's management when the airline will re-open a flight service from and to Bersujud Airport.
"Currently the airlines operating at Bersujud Airport is only Wings with Banjarmasin-Batulicin, Batulicin-Makassar, Makassar-Batulicin and Baatulicin-Banjarmasin flights with daily service," he said.
