The North Hulu Sungai (HSU) Youth, Sports and Tourism Agency (Dispopar) commemorates religious day as an effort to empower their work in the field of youth and tourism.


The Head of Youth of the agency Nazaruddin in Amuntai on Saturday said that religious activities were commemorated as a means of fostering young people.

"By holding religious activities for young people and adolescents we aim at positive activities. They close their chances of being involved in negative things," Nazaruddin said

Nazaruddin was worried about the continued abuse of drugs. HSU is ranked second in South Kalimantan based on the cases handled.

Through religious commemoration and religious holidays, Dispopar also seeks to develop religious attractions in several regions.

"Activities to commemorate religious holidays are held every year. Theystill related to the field of work of Dispopar, one of which is developing tourism, especially religious tourism," he explained.

Moreover, he said, religious life in HSU District is quite thick, so religious activities are quite welcome by the public, including the younger generation.

"In accordance with the HSU Regent's vision and mission to create a community of progress, prosperous, independent, religious and productive, we carry out religious activities as well," said Head of Dispopar Fajeri Rifani.
