Managing Director of PDAM Bandarmasih, Banjarmasin City Ir Yudha Achmady received the 2019 Best Figure & BUMD of the Year award.
The award was given to him by Asia Global Council and Seven Media Asia after defeating four other nominees, namely Managing Director of PDAM Surabaya, Director of the Sidoarjo Hospital (RSUD), Director of RSUD Semarang and Director of PDAM Bandung.
"I express my gratitude for this award. This is a motivation for PDAMs to improve services," Yudha Achmady said in Banjarmasin on Tuesday.
He revealed, the award achieved nationally for the City or District-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) throughout Indonesia, which was submitted on March 15, 2019 at Trans Resort Hotel Bali, was the achievement of all employees of PDAM Bandarmasih.
"I am only the employee representative of PDAM Bandarmasih to receive this award, because this success is our collaboration," he said.
Yudha said, this award was won because of service coverage of the water tap company almost 100 percent to all areas in the provincial capital, to the very corder of the city, even providing services to neighboring regions.
"Maybe because of this we are given the highest award, besides that we also maintain water quality," he explained.
Yudha said, Seven Media Asia and The Key People Magazine were the first media in Indonesia to hold awards by specializing awards to development actors in various fields who had made significant contributions to the progress of the nation and the state.
