The peak of the Millennial Road Safety Festival in the car free day area of the Office of the Governor of South Kalimantan in Banjarbaru Sunday, March 17, 2019 recorded many records of MURI.
"Thank God, the award from MURI is truely for the millennial generation in South Kalimantan, who are committed to being the pioneers of traffic safety," said South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Yazid Fanani.
The presence of 210,000 people, 90 percent of which are millennials, received appreciation from MURI in several categories. Among other foods for millennials from the most MSME outlets, 160 outlets.
Then playing the most traffic game by millennials, namely 11,547 people (online) from 17,603 people who downloaded the Tala game application.
Next is the speech contest in three languages with the most participants as well as driver's license (SIM) services for 72 hours nonstop by the South Kalimantan Regional Police Traffic Directorate at the moment the 14th memoriam of Guru Sekumpul.
The awards were handed over by MURI Senior Manager Yusuf Ngadri representing MURI Chairman Jaya Suprana to South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief Inspector General Yazid Fanani.
The record award was also given by the Chairman and founder of the Indonesian-World Achievement Institute (LEPRID) Paulus Pangka to the Police Chief and South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor as initiators of the Traffic Safety Declaration Record with the Most Students and to the initiator of the Banjar Police Chief Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Takdir Mattanete.
The Millennial Road Safety Festival by the South Kalimantan Regional Police Headquarters was the culmination of the entire series of performances in 13 cities and district police in South Kalimantan which had previously been very lively with the large number of people present.
The road area around the South Kalimantan Provincial office building looks full of sea of humans to fulfill all access roads from various directions.
In addition to car prize, there were a number of exciting prizes such as a package of Umrah to the Holy Land of Makkah and tours to Universal Studio Singapore. Then five motorbikes, 10 mountain bikes, 5 Mirrorless cameras and 20 cellphones.
Support from all agencies and elements of society was clearly visible with the complete presence of members of the provincial and district and city Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda).
