Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Head of the Regional IX Kalimantan of Financial Services Authority (OJK) Haryanto suggested the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Kotabaru Government be aware of investments and utilization of financial technology (fintech).
In the socialization at the Kotabaru Regent Office on Thursday, he stressed the need for knowledge to reduce risks in utilizing various financial services products. Especially with the proliferation of online money lending institutions in the midst of current financial technology developments.
"OJK has closed hundreds of unlicensed financial institutions and reported to the police to take action against," he added.
Kotabaru District Government appreciates the steps OJK provides financial literacy to ASN. "This will have a good impact, especially in adding and expanding our knowledge of the financial industry," said Assistant II Kotabaru Rairajuni Thoher.
He also expects the OJK to help local governments to educate and socialize more about financial service products and consumers protect.
