Barabai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Serap Gabah Petani (Sergap) team from the Indonesian Army Headquarters (Mabes TNI-AD joined the harvest in Paya Besar Village, Batu Benawa Sub-District, Central Hulu Sungai District, Tuesday (12/2).
The team, namely Colonel Inf Firmansyah and Colonel Arh Moh Rusli, were accompanied by Territorial Military Command 101 Antasari Major Inf Alpin, First Sergeant (Sertu) Komaidi and First Sergeant Gusti and 1002 Barabai Military Commander (Dandim) Lieutenant Colonel Inf Nur Rohman Zein.
Together with the ranks of the Agriculture Agency and the Food and Fisheries Agency, they participated in the harvest of Cehirang rice in Taberi's one-hectare rice field from the Sumber Ilmu Farmer group.
"We are satisfied with the implementation of the Sergap (grain absorption) program in the HST, and the results can be seen today," said Sergap Team Chief Col. Inf Firmansyah, who expressed his gratitude to the related agencies and residents of the Paya Besar for their warm welcome and very friendly.
Meanwhile Lieutenant Colonel Inf Nur Rohman Zein said the success of the Sergap program was inseparable from the role of the Babinsa (a village supervisory non-commissioned officer) who had been assisting farmers from processing land to the harvest season.
