Jakarta (Antara News) - Citilink Indonesia airline has agreed to postpone the implementation of paid baggage after consolidating with the Directorate General of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation following the pressure of House of Representative's Commission V.


"Based on the consolidation, Citilink agreed to postpone paid baggage to an undetermined time," said Director General of Air Transportation Polana B Pramesti in a written statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

In the working meeting, the Director General said that he was evaluating the application of the provisions on paid baggage stipulated in the Minister of Transportation Regulation No. PM 185/2015 concerning Service Standards for Economy Class Passenger of Domestic Commercial Air Transport.

"We will conduct a study or evaluation of all rules starting from PM 14 year 2016 to PM 185 year 2015," said Polana.

He said the review was conducted till a balance occurs and does not burden the community and maintain the continuity of the airline.
