Amuntai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - People who receive social assistance (bansos) do not have to worry about assistance being deviated, cut or not on target, because the Ministry of Social Affairs has cooperated with the police to guard and supervise its distribution.
The Head of the Social Protection and Guarantee Division of the North Hulu Sungai (HSU) Social Agency Hairansyah in Amuntai on Tuesday said the police would guard the distribution of social assistance from the center to the village.
"We are grateful and ready to work together with the police to jointly guard and supervise the distribution of social assistance until it reaches the recipient's hand," he said.
Hairansyah said, the escorting from the police is to minimize the potential for vulnerability in the distribution of social assistance funds, especially in the HSU whose geographical area consists of river and swamp.
He stated, irregularities and inaccuracies in the target of channeling social assistance funds could have the effect of creating social conflicts and reducing the level of public trust in the government.
