Amuntai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Head of the Social Protection and Security of the North Hulu Sungai Social Agency Hairansyah prohibits beneficiary families of social assistance for prosperous rice (rastra) from buying other needs, except rice and eggs.
"The family of rastra beneficiaries may only buy two basic necessities of food, rice and eggs. For example, they want to buy cigarettes is not permitted," Hairansyah said in Amuntai on Tuesday.
He pointed out that social assistance (bansos) will be integrated into Non-Cash Food Aid (BPNT) from May or April as a commitment of the central government to change all social assistance distribution into non-cash.
The rastra will be channeled through banks. The bank will make one account and issue a Prosperous Family Card for each beneficiary family.
Banking will work with the community of business owners to buy and sell food as agents of e-warungs.
The selection of e-warung agents, said Hairansyah, through the verification process, having a business license and being ready to work well together, given the families of beneficiaries were also elderly and disabled.
