Barabai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Entering 2019, the Central Hulu Sungai (HST) District Government immediately stepped on the gas to spur development performance, including in the making of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP).
The program carried out by the Organization Section of the HST Secretariat was in the form of guidance on strengthening SAKIP for echelon II and III officials in the scope of the Regional Secretariat located in one hotel in Banjarmasin on Saturday (1/5).
"It is planned that the other OPD (agency or working unit) heads will also receive SAKIP reinforcement guidance training," said Nuriono, Head of Organization of the Regional Secretariat.
Secretary of the South Kalimantan Provincial Inspectorate Sulkan as a tutor said, according to Perpres (Presiden Regulation) Number 29/2014, SAKIP is needed to improve the effectiveness of results-oriented budget use.
"I applaud the ranks of the HST Government for their seriousness and high enthusiasm for learning to strengthen SAKIP," he said.
Meanwhile, HST District Secretary H Akhmad Tamzil said the guidance for strengthening SAKIP would deepen the understanding of echelon II and III officials in an effort to improve the predicate of SAKIP assessment within the HST District Government.
"We also hope that the target of SAKIP will be achieved by making government institutions accountable, so that they can operate efficiently, effectively and responsively to the aspirations of the people and their environment," he said.
