Pelaihari, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Tanah Laut Government again handed over tools and agricultural machinery (Alsintan) as an aid from the state budget (APBN) to farmer groups, Thursday (1/3).
"The assistance given is one four-wheeled tractor to the Karya Mandiri Farmers Group, 20 corn planters to the Tani Rakyat Farmers Group," said Ahmad Mustahdi, Head of the Food Crops, Horticulture, and Plantations.
In addition, one cultivator was handed over to the Manuntung Farmer Group, one hand tractor to the Bina Bersama Farmers Group, and one water pump to the Maju Lestari Farmers Group.
One herbicide aid was given to Bangun Banua farmers union group (Gapoktan) and a grant of 250 kepok manurun banana seedlings to the Pasir Mas Farmers Group.
Separately, Regent H Sukamta said, the government had given a lot of attention to help farmers in the Tanah Laut.
"The government's attention is in the form of tools and seeds, so we should be grateful. If our agriculture is not advanced, it is not the government's fault anymore," he said.
Therefore, he asked, farmers in Bumi Tuntung Pandang (nickname of Tanah Laut) have to work harder to increase the yield of crops.
