Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The South Kalimantan government will regulate the clarity of the mine's origin in order to avoid illegal mining businesses.
"The regulation of the origin of the mine will be contained in the Regional Regulation on Minerals and Coal in South Kalimantan," said the Head of the Special Committee (Pansus) of the draft regulation H Riswandi SIP in Banjarmasin on Monday.
He stated thank God that the special committee could complete the discussion on the draft regulation on minerals and coal before entering 2019.
"With the completion of the discussion, we are just waiting for the results of evaluation or facilitation from the Ministry of Home Affairs," said the senior Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) politician answering the South Kalimantan Antaranews.
According to him, if the local regulation on minerals and coal has been ratified there will be a legal umbrella in regulating the control of the origin of mines in South Kalimantan, which has sufficient potential natural resources.
"For example, if the origin of the mine from X is not possible in the certificate of origin of the mine from Y," said Riswandi, who is also Secretary of Commission III for the Development and Infrastructure of South Kalimantan DPRD, also in charge of mining and energy.
