Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The allurement of Mayor H Ibnu Sina to make the generation of the City of a Thousand Rivers as a barn for the tahfizh (memorizing) of the al-Quran, is welcomed happily. Seen during the current school holidays, one by one Islamic boarding schools and Islamic schools are competing to hold tahfidz Al-Qur'an activities.
Regarding the efforts to produce the al-Quran memorizers, the Hidayatulah Islamic Boarding School (pesantren) on Jalan Kelayan A-II, Antasan Segera, South Banjarmasin, quarantined the tahfizh Qur'an participants.
No less than 284 santri (student) were registered in the activity opened by Mayor H Ibnu Sina. Monday (12/24).
H Ibnu Sina expressed his pride in the activities carried out by the management of the Pesantren Hidayatulah. "I feel proud of all children. This is the golden generation of Banjarmasin City going forward. When your friends schedule vacations, you attend Islamic boarding schools to memorize the al-Quran," he said.
Hopefully, he said, the presence of the Quranic Tahfidz Quarantine could be a part of city government's efforts to make Banjarmasin a barn of tahfizh Al-Quran. "This is what prevents the coming of punishment from Allah SWT," he concluded.
From the collected data, 284 santri who participated in the activity came from various regions, such as the City of Palangkaraya, Kotabaru, Tapin, Anjir and Tamban, Batola District.
They are in the pesantren for one week or during the holidays.
