Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - A mental revolution echoed by the government requires real action so it can bring mental changes and people's mindset towards a better direction, said Achmad Muchlis Yusuf.

"The mental revolution needs real action so that the expected changes can be realized," said the resource person at the Mental Revolution Workshop in Banjarbaru, Monday.

According to the Office of Coordinating Human Development and Culture Ministry (Kemenko PMK)'s representative who is also a member of the National Mental Revolution Task Force, concrete actions that can be carried out are adjusted to the movements have been declared by each region.

"For example, in Banjarbaru there is a clean-up movement, which is in line with the clean Indonesian movement launched by the government and implemented in the regions," said the former Director of LKBN Antara.

The form of real action in the clean-up movement, he said, must be encouraged by four elements in the mental revolution task force, namely the state civil apparatus at all levels, the business world, society, and education circles which encourage each other to create a mental revolution.

"The four elements must discuss and decide what real action is taken so that the mental revolution is not just a movement with nothing to achieve," he said.

Achmad Muchlis Yusuf also revealed that printed and electronic mass media, including social media, are also required to make a positive contribution to the mental revolution movement.

The workshop which took place at the Banjarbaru DPRD building was opened by the City Secretary Said Abdullah attended by hundreds of participants from various community organizations, religious leaders and community leaders.
