Tanjung, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The success of development in Tabalong District has a very significant effect on the increase in the Human Development Index, which is currently in the top five in the province of South Kalimantan.
Tabalong Regent Anang Syakhfiani said infrastructure development had a positive impact on the HDI which continued to increase to 70.76.
"According to the psychological figures, the Tabalong HDI falls into the category of High Human Index or equal to the HDI of the district and big cities in Indonesia," said Anang at the commemoration of the district 53rd anniversary in Tanjung, Saturday.
Meanwhile, the regent mentioned the improvement of regional infrastructure as seen from the condition of the bridge and good irrigation. Recorded in the span of 2015 - 2017 there were 39 bridges and 261 meters more of primary, secondary and tertiary irrigation networks.
Anang revealed that his government is now right on track to realize the vision of development in accordance with the RPJMD (Medium Term Development Plan), namely towards a religious, prosperous and independent Tabalong.
