Amuntai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The child-friendly district title carried by North Hulu Sungai Utara (HSU) continues to proceed in a better direction. The team from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection visited the district to assess the children playground facilities.

Head of the HSU Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Agency (DPPPA) Hj Gusti Iskandariah in Amuntai Monday said several locations for children playgrounds in the district had been assessed by the team.

"Alhamdulillah, the children playgrounds in Amuntai have met the standard as a child-friendly district," Gusti said, admitting there were some suggestions and notes given by the team.

The children playground audit is in order to get a certificate of a Child-Friendly Playground (RBRA). The aim is to increase the predicate of Child-Friendly Districts (KLA).

"We are still proceeding towards a Child-Friendly District, currently HSU is in the middle (Madya) position," she explained.

Two more rankings targeted by HSU are Nindya and Utama to reach the real KLA. "In Indonesia, there are no districts and cities that have won the KLA Utama, except Surabaya and Solo," she said.

Meanwhile, the RBRA lead auditor Hendy Tamara suggested that the HSU government fix some playground facilities that could endanger children.

"At least five types of children's playground must be available, while here even though more than five facilities, but they all similar, need to be added," Hendy said.
