Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Provincial Government of South Kalimantan won an award for the employment development index and the main indicator of the best training and work competencies from the Ministry of Manpower.
Minister of Manpower M Hanif Dhakiri, who handed over the award certificate to South Kalimantan Deputy Governor H Rudy Resnawan in Jakarta, Monday morning, expressed his high appreciation to the regions who won the award.
The South Kalimantan government is considered to have an active role in increasing labour competencies so that it is worthy of being one of the regions receiving the best national awards from 19 categories of the labour development sector assessed by the government.
According to him, without a commitment from the regional head, development progress in the employment sector will never be able to move better. Regions receive awards based on selective assessment and objective field data.
"Once again I say congratulations and success to the regional head of the recipient of the award. Continue to increase employee development through strengthening the synergy between labour people," he said.
Deputy Governor H Rudy Resnawan, who was accompanied by South Kalimantan Public Relations and Protocol Kurnadiansyah, expressed his gratitude for the government's trust in naming South Kalimantan as the recipient of the national award.
According to him, the award was the result of the cooperation of all parties who had been trying to improve the quality of labour management.
