Kandangan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - South Hulu Sungai (HSS) prohibits government employee to use subsidized 3 kg LPG. As a real action, those who use the melon canister exchange it for gas cylinders of 5.5 kg and 12 kg.
The exchange was symbolically carried out after the National Awareness ceremony, Monday (11/19). This action was also to carry out a circular of the HSS Regent No. 189 dated 25 October 2018 concerning the prohibition of a state civil servant (ASN) using 3 kg and switching to 5.5 or 12 kg LPG.
"The Deputy Regent exchanged 3 kg LPG with a 5.5 kg gas canister. This is an example from the regional leader so that the 3 kg LPG can be distributed to those who have the right or poor families," Head of Trade Agency HM Sufiani said in Kandangan on Monday (11/19),
The government cooperates with Pertamina through a distribution agent for the exchange of 3 Kg LPG services for ASNs and upper-middle-class communities.
Furthermore, gas cylinder exchange services are carried out in each sub-district at a Pertamina-appointed base or agent.
The government hopes that these efforts will be followed by the awareness of all ASNs and people who are not entitled to subsidies to immediately exchange their gas cylinders.
