Amuntai, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Pambalah Batung Amuntai District Hospital provides five dialysis machines which were inaugurated last Thursday by North Hulu Sungai (HSU) Regent Abdul Wahid.


The director of the hospital Dr Badrus here on Saturday said hemodialysis unit at the Pambalah Batung Amuntai District Hospital is very helpful for patients who have had to go to hospitals outside the district.

"At least 25 patients from HSU District who treated dialysis (hemodialysis) in other regional hospitals, such as Banjarmasin, HSS, and Tanjung," he said in Amuntai.

Badrus said the dialysis service is expected to be implemented in early 2019. The hospital has the support of the East Java-Kalimantan branch of the Indonesian Nephrology Association (Pernefri).

He said the representative of Pernefri promised to provide assistance and support so that the dialysis service in Pambalah Batung Hospital could be immediately operational.

Meanwhile, the Regent of HSU Abdul Wahid, who was accompanied by Head of the Health Agency Agus Fidliansyah, was very grateful and appreciated the hard work of all the ranks of the Pembalah Batung Hospital till they received the Full Five Star Accreditation.

He hopes the various advancements and improvements in the regional hospital services will continue to be pursued so that people will increasingly benefit from health services and excellent treatment according to the five-star accreditation status held by Pambalah Batung Amuntai Hospital.
