Banjarmasin, (Antaranews Kalsel) - Candidate for Vice President Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno claimed to have nostalgia for South Kalimantan, especially in the business world.

"I will always be reminded of South Kalimantan, because in this province it was one of the first things that raised my business as it is now," he said when speaking as a source of economic dialogue with members of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Cafe Nostalgia, Banjarmasin, Saturday.

Sandi recounted, he had fallen in the job. He was laid off in Singapore, so he had to go home, and start a business from scratch.

"With determination to rise up in the business world in the field of financial and investment consultants, with the accompaniment of prayer, Alhamdulillah began to rise, one of which began in this province," he told.

Starting the revival, said Sandi, from one company he pioneered, it developed into 28 companies spread across Indonesia. "Of only three employees, now we have around 30 thousand employees," he said.

Of all that, Sandi said, he would never forget where the business began, namely in South Kalimantan, until he was no stranger to the area.

"In fact, I used to go here every month, often eating Soto Banjar. So after not long enough to come here, I felt nostalgic again, especially when I was at Cafe Nostalgia. There is no coincidence, this is God's will," he said.

Sandiaga visited Banjarmasin to attend an economic dialogue invitation entitled "The Role of Entrepreneurs and Millennials in the Nation's Economic Development" at two events, namely with Kadin members and with students. Sandi stated that this activity was separated from political campaigns.
