"We are encouraging South Kalimantan's economic development through various sectors to continue to be improved so that the community is more advanced and prosperous," he said in the city of Banjarbaru, Saturday.

The economic sector, said Sandiaga who runs for a vice president, became the focus of major improvements because he saw the condition of the people whose economies are still poor that they could not enjoy a better life.

Sandiaga, who co-running with the presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto, said that he is trying to ensure the stability of prices of basic necessities, including securing the supply of goods, so that prices hike could be reduced.

"We are trying to improve the distribution chain to be simpler and more open so that farmers and breeders get profit and the price of goods is not high," he said.

Sandiaga is not only suggesting, he offers four working principles to improve the condition of the nation. The first principle, he said, is to work hard according to one's field and expertise. Second, work smart, especially for the younger generation or millennials, and the third is work thoroughly according to their responsibilities.

"The fourth principle is to work sincerely in carrying out the duties and responsibilities full of dedication and loyalty so that the results are good and as expected," he said.

He went to Banjarbaru for the inauguration of support volunteers. Sandiaga then visited the jewelry shopping center the Cahaya Bumi Selamat (CBS) in Martapura. After that, he walked to the Al Karomah Mosque, which is about 500 meters away to carry out the Zuhr prayer and received a warm welcome from the community.
