Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The issuance of passports at the Banjarmasin Class I Immigration Office, South Kalimantan, has returned to normal since November 5.
     

Head of Information and Communication Technology of the Office Adityo Agung Nugroho in Banjarbaru on Monday said the disturbance has been overcome by the central office.
     
"The disturbance was overcome completely by the Directorate of Immigration Information Technology System so that the passport printing can be done starting on Monday (5/11)," he said.
     
According to Adityo, who was accompanied by the Head of Information Technology Subsection Iman Chris Toffel and Information and Communication Subsection Head Yuli Prihantono, disruption occurred in the Biometric Matching System process BMS is a tool used to match the passport applicant's fingerprint with the master data on the Immigration Information Technology System
     
"Disturbances occur throughout the Indonesian immigration Office, so the issuance of passports cannot be done due to the maintenance of equipment. But now everything is normal," he said.

The process of issuing passports according to normal procedures takes three days from the time the applicant submits the requirements at the immigration office.

"The process lasts for three days since the applicant completes the terms and every day we print 162 passports through four operated machines," he said.
     
He said, the printing of applicant's passport that had been delayed which number reached hundreds have been processed and the passport deliver on schedule.
