Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, won the Prima Madya award from the Ministry of Transportation for the improvement of its public services.


General Manager of Syamsudin Noor Airport MMA Indah Preastuty in Banjarbaru Tuesday said the award was given by the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi in Jakarta, Monday (17/9).

"We are certainly proud to receive this public service award, especially since the category rose compared to last year," she said, accompanied by Airport Operation and Services Department Head Ruly Artha.

Two years ago Syamsudin Noor Airport won an award for Prima Pratama (beginner) category and in 2018 won the Prima (middle) category award.

The award is expected to be a driving force for all managed to work better and more beneficial in improving the quality of public services for airport service users.

"The award was achieved thanks to the hard work and dedication of the entire Syamsudin Noor Airport team and we made this award as a spirit boost so that the quality of service is getting better," he said.
     
Similar awards were received by all or 13 airports under the management of state airport operator PT Angkasa Pura I with various categories, Prima Utama, Prima Madya, and Prima Pratama.
