Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Banjarbaru Mayor Nadjmi Adhani launched a year of visit to the city to attract people to visit with the slogan "Go Banjarbaru".
"We announce next year as a year of tourist visits by trying to attract outsiders to come and tour Banjarbaru," he said here on Tuesday.
The mayor, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Darmawan Jaya Setiawan, said that the city government have begun to fix the facilities of a number of tourism objects that are the flagship of the city.
"We have prepared a number of leading tourism objects to attract visitors both locally and outside the region. The tourism objects are government-owned and private," he said.
At present three tourism objects are prepared, namely the urban pine forest in Mentaos, Kampung Pelangi in Guntung Paikat Village and Kemuning Village.
And the third Amanah Borneo Park, another leading tourism object that is privately run in Palam Village, offers recreational and educational facilities for families.
"The three tourism object locations become superior tourism that are well packed, so they can attract outsiders to come to Banjarbaru to enjoy urban tourism," he said.
