Rantau, (Antaranews) - There are 28 large and small holes that may endanger motorists passing through provincial roads in Tapin District.


Tapin Traffic Unit Police (Satlantas) together with the Transportation Agency reported the condition to the Acting Regent.

"Today we are meeting the Acting Regent to report on the condition of the provincial road in Tapin," Head of Tapin Traffic Police Adj Comr (AKP) Alvin Agung Wibawa said in Rantau, Wednesday (5/9).

He explained that the survey conducted by the team found as many as 28 potholes that could endangered drivers.

"The 28 hollow road points are scattered in the Binuang and Lokpaikat Subdistrict," he said.

The purpose of reporting is that the Tapin Government can report the situation to the Provincial Hall of Road (Balai Jalan) for immediate repairs.

"We hope that the potholes in Tapin District will be repaired before World Food Day," he said.

While Acting Regent Gusti Syahyar said he would ask the Balai Jalan to immediately follow up with a programmed action plan.

"Because this is to suppress accidents in Tapin and road users feel safe when crossing the road in the district," said Gusti Syahyar.
