Regarding the cause of the death, Noor Fahmi as Chairperson of the PPIH of Banjarmasin Embarkation said from the analysis of the health team was due to dehydration and fatigue.

"Her medical history from departure to the time of worship activities in Saudi Arabia was not indicated there was an alarming illness. It's just from the family story that the deceased near the return was reluctant to drink a lot," he explained.

Thus, the Banjarmasin Embarkation pilgrims who have died until now are seven people, five of them in Makkah and one died in Madinah.
