Banjarmasin (AntaranewsKalsel) - The state port operator Pelindo III Banjarmasin again distributed aid to Banjarmasin City in the form of Partnership Program funds. The first phase of assistance in 2018 is distributed 1.6 billion rupiahs.

The Pelindo Kalimantan Regional CEO Recky Julius Urulial said the assistance was handed over to 20 residents around Pelindo III who have independent businesses or MSMEs. The goal is to help them develop their businesses. The assistance is in the form of additional capital which is expected to increase their business output.

Banjarmasin Mayor H. Ibnu Sina who also attended the handover expressed his gratitude to Pelindo III for their efforts in helping the Banjarmasin City community. According to him, assistance programs like this are very right on target.

"In the future, I ask you to collaborate with the Banjarmasin City CSR program, as well as Banjarmasin entrepreneurial development program. Banjarmasin City Government itself has a program to give birth to 500 new entrepreneurs every year. Hopefully Pelindo III's CSR assistance can target them too,". he said.

Ibnu Sina also advised the beneficiaries to be able to make the best use of it. "The recipients are responsible for the assistance provided. Using it to increase business capital, to promote a better living standard, do not even use for consumptive needs," he asserted.(humpro-bjm)
