Amuntai, (AntaranewsKalsel) - The North Hulu Sungai (HSU) Government, South Kalimantan, was again awarded by the President for several categories of the Child Friendly District award.
Head of Women Empowerment and Child Protection Agency (DP3A) Hj Gusti Iskandariah said HSU has the status of Child Friendly District award (KLA) since 2017.
"Various efforts have been made by the HSU government by developing family protection institutions in all villages," he said.
This institution, Gusti said, already exists in all villages to provide brief guidance and training on procedures for handling cases, identify possible violent acts in rural areas
"Family protection agencies those already have child profiles are 34," he said.
The socialization of the Law on Protection of Women and Children is also continuously carried out with the target of children in orphanages through the District Children's Forum at the district, sub-district and village levels.
He said the agency created a program for giving positive values ??in collaboration with the Children's Forum and the Ministry of Religious Affairs targeting schools starting in August 2018.
"We are also developing children's participation by facilitating monthly Children's Forum meetings in towns, sub-districts and villages and implementing the Children's Forum jamboree," explained Gusti.
