Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The 1006 Martapura District Military Command (Kodim) through its 102nd TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) will build 10.7 kilometers road in Pengaron Subdistrict, Banjar, South Kalimantan.


"The opening of 10,7 kilometers long and 3 meters wide road will connect the Village of Penyiuran with the Antaraku Village," said Commander of the 102nd TMMD Task Force Muhammad Ghoffar Ngismangil on Tuesday during the opening ceremony of the TMMD in the football field at Pengaron Subdistrict Office.

Ghoffar explained, Army (TNI), Banjar Police (Polri), assisted by the local residents will open the road which is scheduled from 10 July to 18 August 2018.

In addition to road construction, the TMMD will also rehabilitate residents' homes and residential security posts as well as non physical targets such as free medical treatment, KB (family planning) health, baazar to various counseling services.

Meanwhile, 101 Antasari South Kalimantan Military Commander Colonel Inf Yudianto Putrajaya in the ceremony stated, TMMD is one form of TNI service to the community.

"By building infrastructure, roads and bridges are expected to facilitate access to the community that in the future can improve their welfare," he said.

Vice Regent of Banjar H Saidi Mansyur expresses his gratitude and appreciation to TNI and Polri who have participated in accelerating development in Banjar District.

According to Saidi, without the help of TNI and Polri, it would be difficult to build the district, because geographically it has a hilly terrain and forest that is difficult to open.

"TMMD is also expected to foster the spirit of togetherness, mutual cooperation and a sense of kinship, so as to create solid relationships, unity and solid unity in order to realize the prosperous community of Banjar District," he concluded.
