Kandangan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The 1003 Kandangan District Military Commander (Dandim) Lieutenant Colonel Inf Suhardi Aji Sriwijayanto predicts the Added Planting Area (LTT) in June 2018 will be 2805 hectares, or increases by 812 ha.
He said he would continue to improve the synergy of the authorities, including all the Babinsa (a village supervisory non-commissioned officer), Danramil (sub-district military commander), head of BPP, PPL, in order to succeed LTT acceleration program in the end of June until September 2018 in South Hulu Sungai (HSS) District.
"I would like to thank the Director of Fertilizers and Pesticides of the Ministry of Agriculture Muhrizal Sarwani, as the builder of South Kalimantan Upsus ((special effort in agriculture) for supporting the seed, especially in the swamp land in accordance with the agreed schedule," he said when speaking at the LLT Acceleration Coordination Meeting at the HSS Agricultural Agency, Tuesday (25/6).
He explained that LTT acceleration is the target of self-sufficiency, and special efforts are made by synergizing the Babinsa and agricultural stakeholders in the HSS to jointly assist the farmers.
Assistance to farmers ranging from cultivation of land, seed preparation, fertilization, planting to harvest with one goal to achieve food self-sufficiency.
Director of Fertilizers and Pesticides Muhrizal also expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders in charge of agriculture, because HSS is one of the LTT big supporters in South Kalimantan. This is evidenced by the predicted target achievement in end of June estimated to increase from last year.
