Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Member of the South Kalimantan Police's Directorate of Drug Investigation (Ditresnarkoba) seized 577.88 grams of sabu-sabu (crystal meth) from a network controlled by Yu, a woman.


"From this network we secured six people, four men and two women," Director of Police Drug Investigation Sr Comr (Kombes) Muhammad Firman declared through Head of Binopsnal Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Daryanto in Banjarmasin, Saturday.

The drug ring was uncovered from the information obtained by officers about a drug transaction to be done by GAS, a suspect.

The team led by head of Subdit II of the directorate Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Andi A then caught GAS on Thursday (21/6) afternoon at Jalan Pengambangan,
East Banjarmasin, with the evidence of three packages of sabu-sabu and one ecstasy pill.

Police subsequently developed their finding by busted MS and a woman with the initial NS on Jalan Benua Anyar, East Banjarmasin, and seized from them 2.55 grams sabu-sabu.

But, officers did not stop there. They again developed the case until they busted MH on Jalan RE Martadinata, Central Banjarmasin, and seized from him a package of sabu-sabu weighing 100.83 grams.

The quite large of the evidence even then made members of the directorate more confident if the network they revealed this time are of a big players.

Evidently, from the arrest of a suspected female EY aka Yu, who allegedly the network controller, officers found two large packages of sabu-sabu, one weighing 201.46 grams and another 220.55 grams.

"Previously we also arrested SM at Jalan Haryono MT, Central Banjarmasin, with evidence of 2.13 grams of sabu-sabu. From this courier we successfully uncover the series network of Yu," explained Daryanto.
