Martapura, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Kiram tourism Park in Kiram Village, Karang Intan Subdistrict, Banjar, South Kalimantan, becomes a new economic magnet for surrounding communities and traveling traders.


The people economic can be seen from the number of food and beverage traders who spread their merchandise in the tourist areas.

Even in this new tourist attractions, that offer natural scenery such as slopes and hills, here also thrives folk plantations, such as peanuts, long beans, various chili and various vegetables.

Kiram tours may also be said to be the driving force behind the rise of the people's economy. The youth of the village also look creative utilizing the new potential of unique tourism that relies on the beauty of its natural.

Land, which previously neglected, now began to be planted with a variety of fruit or vegetables and legumes.

On Sunday (17/6) morning, the youth of Kiram village in particular invited South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor for a  premier peanut harvest.

Governor on the sidelines of the with the peanuts harvest seemed happy with the development of people economy around the tourist sites of kiram.

"Alhamdulillah it turns out that the land here is also suitable to grow vegetables or other plants that can bring in income. Like young people here have just harvested peanut," he said.

Uncle Birin (nickname of the governor) also expressed gratitude for the hectic activity of buying and selling with the number of food vendors in tourist locations.
  
He hopes the merchants still pay attention to aspects of cleanliness. According to him, one of the attractions of a tourist spot is the aspect of cleanliness.
