Martapura, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Class I Juvenile Correctional Facility (LPKA) in Martapura, South Kalimantan, opens a longer time visit for inmates' families in Idul fitri holidays season.


Head of LPKA Tri Saptono in Martapura on Sunday said the visit was open for two days, Saturday (16/6) and Sunday (17/6), with a longer visit time than normal time in the facility.

The two-day visit in the Idul Fitri holidays season is given from morning to evening, in contrast to the relatively shorter time in regular day visit.

"Family visits on Saturday and Sunday are open from 08.30 to 15.30, while the usual day visit at 09.00 to 11.30," he said.

According to him, the length of time given to families of inmates because there are those from outside the city, thus providing an opportunity for them to meet.

"If the place is possible then the time given to the inmate and his family can be full for four hours, but if many who visit to be arranged according to conditions," he said.

He emphasized that giving longer time for inmates and their families in the Idul Fitri holidays season is a routine activity every year.

"Families of inmates who came quite a lot, reaching hundreds of people and all served with a long time over an hour," he said.

He mentioned that the number of inmates receiving special Idul Fitri remission, both Remission Special (RK) I and RK II were 229 people, two of whom were free immediately.
