Paringin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Balangan District Government, South Kalimantan, is proud of the achievements of Nur Aimah, in the 2018 World Para Swimming Championship in Berlin, Germany.


Nur Aimah won the third in the S7 world swimming championship classification, which is classification for those who have disabilities or limited foot or leg function, either because of congenital defects, amputations or others.

Jessica Long from USA succeeded in reaching the podium one, followed by Amalie Vinther of Denmark. Though in third position, Nur Aimah has managed to bring the fragrant name of Indonesia in the world.

Regent Balangan H Ansharuddin here on Saturday (9/6) expressed very proud of the achievements of his citizens who is now trusted to bring the name of Indonesia in the International arena.

"Nur Aimah proved that limitation is not a barrier to achieving something, even in sports field. With strong perseverance and intention, even Nur Aimah is able to achieve achievement in International level," said Anshar.

"The spirit and diligence that Nur Aimah has in achieving the ideals, we should imitate, although the end result of an effort itself can not be sure, because in life it is clear that we will not always get what we want, but thanks to diligence , the effort and struggle will produce good results," he added.
