Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - South Kalimantan Public Security and Order Task Force conducted urine test to 200 inmates of Class IIB Pelaihari State Detention Center. The result wass all negative from taking drugs.


"Both drug detainee and drug prisoners, no one positive of using drugs," said Head of Security, Health, and Caring of Prisoners (Kabid Kamkeswatlolabasanbaran) Samsul Arifin, Saturday.

Urine test carried out suddenly after the briefing from Samsul Arifin to the ranks of officers of Pelaihari Penitentiary.

Not only did the urine test, the task force of the South Kalimantan Office of Law and Human Rights Ministry (Kemenkumham Kalsel) also conducted a search on Block A, B, C and the Women Block by deploying 113 personnel.

Samsul appreciated the security and handling of detainee and prisoners in Pelaihari Penitentiary, because of the search by the task force did not find any banned items, such as drugs, mobile phones and sharp weapons.

"Officers only found undesirable items in the prison and not too dangerous, such as matches, batteries, headsets, nail clippers and Dexamitazone brand allergy drugs," he explained.

Acting Head of Pelaihari Penitentiary Agus Sarwoko said he felt grateful to the colleagues and leaders of the regional office who have noticed the situation and condition of the penitentiary that is considered sterile.
